How Linearloop built a single React.js and Node.js codebase powering five specialised LED sub-shops across the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium — with Tweakwise search, Robin live chat, A/B testing, and a 9.1 customer rating on The Feedback Company.

PLATFORM SCREENS
HOMEPAGE — ANNOUNCE BAR, NAVIGATION, HERO, USP STRIP AND SUB-SHOP SWITCHER

Announce bar with same-day delivery promise, 9.1 rating, 5-year warranty and free shipping — four conversion signals above the fold. Sub-shop switcher below routes buyers to specialist stores
PRODUCT LISTING WITH TWEAKWISE FACETED SEARCH AND FILTER

Tweakwise faceted search and filter panel — colour temperature, waterproofing, voltage, length — high-performance filtering across 186+ SKUs without page reload
MULTI-REGION — SAME CODEBASE, LOCALISED PER COUNTRY

One codebase rendering three regional storefronts — localised language, delivery promise, payment methods, and pricing per country. No code duplication
THE PROBLEM SPACE
Managing 5 specialised shops across 3 countries meant maintaining separate codebases — slow to update, expensive to run, impossible to scale
The previous platform could not meet LedKoning's performance requirements — fast load times are a core brand promise for an online-first LED retailer
No clean way to bridge a modern React.js frontend with the existing PHP backend — third-party integrations had to work across all shops without compromising speed
Regional customisation — different languages, payment methods, delivery promises, and product ranges — was not possible from a single system
Instead of managing seven separate websites, we built one powerful engine that powers all of them — each tailored to different countries, languages, and features — without duplicating effort. It's like managing a fleet of customised vehicles using one smart control panel.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Separate codebases per shop and region. Every update required duplicated effort across 5 stores in 3 countries.
Built a single React.js and PawJS codebase powering 5 specialist sub-shops — LedstripKoning, SolarlampKoning, LedprofielKoning, BouwlampKoning, SmarthomeKoning.
No performant frontend. The existing platform could not achieve the fast load times LedKoning required to support their brand promise.
Delivered a performance-optimised FTLShop implementation — fast load times maintained across all shops with complex Tweakwise filtering and Robin chat active.
No clean React.js to PHP integration layer. Third-party tools like Tweakwise and Robin could not be unified across shops.
Custom Node.js middleware bridging React.js frontend to PHP backend — clean API contracts with separation of concerns enabling stable third-party integration at scale.
No per-region customisation from a single codebase — language, payments, pricing, and delivery logic all required separate builds.
Per-region localisation from one codebase — Dutch, German, and Flemish Belgian storefronts with region-specific delivery promises, payment methods, and product ranges.
Delivered Tech Stack & Integrations
OUR PROCESS
Single codebase designed with shop-specific feature flags — each sub-shop activates or deactivates functionality without touching core code
Custom bridge between React.js and the PHP backend — unified API contracts enabling clean integration of Tweakwise, Robin, and A/B testing across all shops
A reusable BVB Shop package managing shared business logic — cart rules, pricing, and API calls centralised once and deployed across all implementations
Continuous delivery with regular review cycles — new features, performance improvements, and regional adaptations shipped iteratively on a live platform
Language, payment gateway, delivery copy, and product range configured per country — no separate builds, no code duplication per region
Not a handoff — performance monitoring, feature additions, design improvements, and mobile UX optimisation continue as an active post-launch partnership
WHAT WE BUILT
One React.js and PawJS codebase powering LedstripKoning, SolarlampKoning, LedprofielKoning, BouwlampKoning, and SmarthomeKoning — updates deploy to all shops simultaneously.
High-performance faceted search with colour temperature, waterproofing, voltage, and length filters — Tweakwise.js integrated across all shops without impacting FTL load speeds.
Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium each get localised language, delivery promise, payment methods, and product pricing — all managed from one codebase with per-region feature flags.
Custom Node.js bridge connecting React.js to the PHP backend — enabling fast load times, stable third-party integrations, and a scalable foundation for ongoing shop expansion.
